Inclusive Learning |
Inclusive learning focuses on supporting the various needs presented through individual support plans and deals extensively with classroom management. I genuinely believe that a big part of education is the social processes within it. It is essential for students to grow with their peers in a shared environment. Classroom management is vital in this sense because one student could need more support that could divert attention in the classroom. Since I was in primary school, the difference in inclusive learning is substantial, and I believe this shift towards more inclusivity is best.
I recently created this classroom management strategy with my Grade 2 practicum class. It was amazing to see the differences in the kids when they earned their reward. I was also able to notice a lot of students developing self-awareness over their decisions. |
